October brings Halloween and cold weather. It also brings politicians and celebrities as the November election looms. If you're a Bill Clinton fan, and even if your not, he's scheduled to visit the state today to support a state proposal that would loosen Michigan's laws regarding embryonic stem cell research: Proposal 2. You probably know of the proposal from the "2 goes 2 far" advertisements on television. Clinton will speak at the Taubman Air Terminal at Oakland County Airport at 4:30 p.m.

Last Day to Register to Vote in Michigan

October 6th is the last day to register to vote in Michigan for the November, 2008 election. A lot rides on this year's vote, including president, stem cell research and medical use of marijuana, in addition to U.S. and state representatives, county and township officials, and judges.
