Wednesday night's game was another nail biter, but the Red Wings kept their lead even through a close call in the last few minutes of the game. They won the sixth game 3-2, cinching their claim to the Stanley Cup. A general roar swelled through the suburbs as fans watching the game on TV reacted. Horns could be heard honking and flags could be seen waving a full hour later.

Now for the celebration. The Stanley Cup is the guest of honor in a parade organized to celebrate the win on Friday morning at 11 a.m. According to TheStar.com, the parade will start at Hockeytown Cafe on Woodward Avenue and end at Hart Plaza.
