Detroit Area Museums and Historical Sites

School may be out, but a museum or historical-site visit makes a great summer activity -- it will also keep the kids learning. Detroit's museum community is thriving. Unlike casualties in other cities, many of Detroit's museums are expanding. And they are all offering up new exhibits and events to keep the experience fresh and interesting:
