Reminder: Michigan Absentee Ballots

For the general election held on November 4th, 2008, your request for an absentee ballot must be received by your city or township clerk by 2 p.m. on November 1st. Emergency absentee ballots can be requested thereafter, up until 4 p.m. on election day. Note: You must show that the timing of the emergency made it impossible for you to apply for a regular absentee ballot.

The absentee ballots must be received by your city or township clerk by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
