Reminder: Michigan Absentee Ballots

Thursday October 30, 2008
For the general election held on November 4th, 2008, your request for an absentee ballot must be received by your city or township clerk by 2 p.m. on November 1st. Emergency absentee ballots can be requested thereafter, up until 4 p.m. on election day. Note: You must show that the timing of the emergency made it impossible for you to apply for a regular absentee ballot.

The absentee ballots must be received by your city or township clerk by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
