Last Week for Cider Mills in the Metro Detroit Area

We're down to the finish line of cider season. Local mills close down at or just after the Thanksgiving weekend, so now's the time to get cider and donuts before they are no longer available. Is it just me? Or are cider-mill donuts not served as warm and crispy as in the old days?
