Detroit Manages to Dodge a Top-Ten Ranking

We have to take our good news where we can get it. In this case, the good news is that Detroit DIDN'T rank in the top ten for something negative. After being christened by Forbes as the #1 most dangerous city in the country and making the top ten for most polluted cities, Detroit miraculously dodged a bullet (apparently against all odds given our violent-crime stats) in a top-ten ranking for cities with the biggest drop in house prices. According to The Wall Street Journal article, Detroit is NOT on the top-ten list. The top honor goes to...(drum roll please)...Las Vegas.
