Movies to Film in Michigan This Summer

Build it and they will come. Well in this case, offer an irresistible film-incentive package and you’ve got the likes of Rob Reiner, Aidan Quinn, Liam Neeson and Jennifer Connelly hanging out in Michigan this summer.

Movies set to film in Michigan this summer:
  • According to an article in the The Ann Arbor News, Rob Reiner’s Flipped, a movie based on Wendelin Van Draanen’s novel, will begin filming at various locations in Ann Arbor on June 26th. The movie stars Madeline Carroll, Aidan Quinn, Penelope Ann Miller and John Mahoney (of Frasier fame).

  • Dustin Lance Black’s What’s Wrong With Virginia is set to film in west Michigan later this summer. The film by the screenwriter/director of Milk stars Liam Neeson and Jennifer Connelly.
