Halloween Happening in Pontiac: Erebus Haunted House

Wednesday October 21, 2009

Since its opening in 2000, the Erebus Haunted House in Pontiac, Michigan has been a trendsetter in the haunted-house industry. Of course, four stories of horrors insure a certain amount of scare. In fact, the sheer size of the haunted attraction led to Guinness World Records dubbing Erebus the "largest walk-through haunted attraction" in the world.

Erebus kept the title for several years, but lost it in 2009 when it was supplanted by a haunted attraction in Texas. While the Texas attraction may have squeaked in a few more square feet, Erebus is still a horrific experience. In fact, it was recently rated the fourth "Must See" haunted attraction in the nation by Haunted Attraction Magazine.
