While the warm weather makes it tempting to head outdoors this weekend, there are still several things to do that will allow you to soak up the air conditioning and avoid the darker side of sunshine: UVB rays.
In addition to Trade Shows, Conventions and Expos about town, there are several indoor Sporting Events to check out. For instance, the Honoring Mother Earth POW WOW is at the Gibraltar Trade Center in Mt. Clemens, and the International Indoor Gardening Expo is at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi. Meanwhile, the Detroit Mechanix are playing the Columbus Cranes (Disc League) at the Pontiac Silverdome, and the Sports Cards, Antiques & Collectibles Show is at the Gibraltar Trade Center in Taylor.
