List of Egg Hunts and Easter Events in Metro Detroit

In addition to Easter Brunch, there are plenty of fun family activities being held in celebration of Easter throughout the Metro-Detroit area. In addition to bunny photo ops, there are several egg hunts being held from now until Easter Sunday. Here is a list of egg hunts, bunny breakfasts, and other Easter events in Metro Detroit in 2013:

Ann Arbor: The Easter Egg Scramble & Spring Eggstravaganza is sponsored by the Ann Arbor Jaycees and is scheduled on Saturday, March 30th at 11 AM in Buhr Park, 2751 Packard Street. The event includes face painting, balloon animals, a petting zoo, egg scramble, DJ and games.
The event is free.

Auburn Hills: The 22nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt & Bonnet Contest is scheduled for Saturday, March 30th at noon in Civic Center Park. The event includes an egg toss and photos, as well as several age categories for the egg hunt.
Cost is $2 per child.

Brownstown: An Easter Egg Scramble is scheduled for Saturday, March 30th at 10 AM and again at 1 PM at the Pool Complex in Lake Erie Metropark. The event includes hayrides, an Easter Muskrat, lunch, crafts and farm animals.
Cost is $5 per person.

Canton: An Easter Eggstravaganza is schedule on Saturday, March 23rd at 10:30 AM at the Amphitheater in Heritage Park and the Gymnasium at Summit on the Park. The event includes an egg hunt and a visit with the Easter Bunny.
Cost is $5 per family.

Detroit: The Easter Fun Fest is scheduled on Sunday, April 7th from 11 AM to 3 PM at Bell Isle Casino. The event is divided into three age groups and includes candy, face painting, crafts, inflatables, prizes and contests.
The event is free.

Dexter: An Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for Sunday, March 24th at 2 PM at the Activity Center in Hudson Mills Metropark. The event includes a Barnyard Express show, face painting and a visit by the Easter Bunny.
Cost is $4 per child/$6 at the door.

Grosse Pointe Farms: An Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for Saturday, March 23rd at 10 AM in Pier Park. The event includes a visit with the Easter Bunny.
The event is free.

Grosse Pointe Farms: A Breakfast with the Easter Bunny is scheduled for Sunday, March 24th at 10:30 AM at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial on Lake Shore Drive.

Livonia: An Egg Hunt is scheduled for Saturday, March 30th at noon in Rotary park at Six Mile Road and Hubbard.

Livonia: A Bunny Brunch is scheduled for Saturday, March 23rd at 11 AM at the Civic Park Senior Center. The event includes games, crafts, pizza, drink and a visit with the Easter Bunny.
Cost is $5 per person.

Milford/Brighton: The Fun on the Farm – Egg Hunt is scheduled for Thursday, March 28th at 10 AM at the Farm Center in Kensington Metropark. The event includes an egg scramble and a visit by the Easter Bunny.
Cost is $5 per person.

Milford/Brighton: The Great Egg Hunt is scheduled for Saturday, March 30th at 11 AM at Maple Beach in Kensington Metropark. It includes an egg scramble, farm animal show (10:30 and 11:30 AM), and a visit by the Easter Bunny.
Cost is $5 per person.

Northville: An Egg Scramble is scheduled for Saturday, March 30th at 11 AM in Maybury State Park. The event includes games, activities, and visits by Smokey Bear and the Easter Bunny.

Ray: The Toddler Egg Scramble is scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday, March 16th and 17th, at 10 AM and 1 PM. The event will be held at the Farm Center in Wolcott Mill Metropark and includes wagon rides, crafts, egg scramble, and a visit with the Easter Bunny.
Cost is $5 per child.

Ray: The Farm Egg Scramble is scheduled for Sunday, March 24th at noon at the Farm Center in Wolcott Mill Metropark. The event includes an egg scramble, farm animals, pictures, crafts, wagon rides and Rosco the Clown.
Cost is $5 per adult/$3 per child.

Royal Oak: Bunnyville at The Detroit Zoo hosts Egg-stravaganza on Saturday, March 30th from 10 AM to 4 PM. The event includes an egg hunt, prizes, Jelly Bean Jamboree, treats, games, crafts, live entertainment, animals, zookeeper talks, and a whisker painting station. The Bunny Follies show is schedule at noon, 1 PM, 2 PM and 3 PM.
Cost is $8 (plus parking) with a canned-food donation.

Shelby Township: The Annual Egg Scramble is scheduled for Saturday, march 23rd at 1 PM at the Nature Center in Stony Creek Metropark. The event includes crafts and a visit by the Easter Bunny.
Cost is $4.

Wayne: The 34th Annual Marshmallow Drop is scheduled for Friday, March 29th at 10 AM in Attwood Park. There will be three separate drops, one for each age group.
The event is free.

Wayne: A Bunny Breakfast is scheduled for Friday, March 29th at 10:30 AM at the Wayne Community Center. The event includes pancakes, sausage, and juice, as well as arts and crafts.
Cost is $4 for residents/$5 non residents.

Wixom: A Bunny Hop is scheduled for March 15th at 5:30 PM at the Community Center, 49015 Pontiac Trail. The event includes a pizza dinner, dancing and a visit with the Easter Bunny.
Cost is $7 a person.

Woodhaven: The Easter Bunny Breakfast and Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt are scheduled for Saturday, March 23rd at 10 AM. The breakfast is at 8:30 AM with the Egg Hunt following at 10 AM.
