Winter in Detroit is full of teeth-chattering cold days and lots of snow. As a Detroiter, it's easiest to embrace the season and strap on a pair of ice skates or skies. If cold-weather sports don't do it for you, the big event of the season -- outside of the various holidays -- is the North American International Auto Show in downtown Detroit.
