Review of Cirque Du Soleil's Saltimbanco

Review: Cirque Du Soleil Saltimbanco

Kids

While there is nothing objectionable in the show for children, they may not truly appreciate its abstract take on traditional circus acts. While the acts are truly amazing, the show’s theme may not provide enough of a back story to keep kids interested. Brought up on digital effects and Ultimate Extreme Crashes, today's kids may be just jaded enough that they don’t appreciate the human talent and lack of collisions.

As is common in the entertainment industry, the writer was provided with complimentary tickets for the purpose of reviewing the show. While it has not influenced this review, About.com believes in full disclosure of all potential conflicts of interest. For more information, see our ethics policy.
