MI-Fest '11

Where: Michigan International Speedway, Brooklyn

MI-Fest features all things Michigan, including food, art, industry and music. Headliners on the multiple stages include Sheryl Crow, Raconteurs, Ronnie Dunn, Jeff Daniels, The Ragbirds, Mark Farner, and The Romantics. Tickets are $79 and VIP tickets are $109. Camping is also available.

Ann Arbor Antiques Market

Detroit Fashion Week

Where: Locations Throughout Royal Oak

Detroit Fashion Week is recognized as the most important fashion event in the Midwest. In 2011, the festivities will include a designer reception, preview party, charity auction, Pink Design Showcase, and Runway After Party.

Arts Alive!: After six and one-half years of renovations, the New Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) opened its doors in 2007 to show off its new design and galleries. The DIA is always brimming with events, including films, exhibits and music.
