Established in 1946, Blake Farms is an area tradition and now has two locations within five miles of each other in Armada: Blake's Orchard & Cider Mill and Big Apple Orchards. A lot more is going on at each location than just apples and cider, including a nursery, corn maze and haunted attractions.
Located in the picturesque Village of Franklin, the cider mill is housed in a former grist mill that dates back to 1837 and has a large water wheel. The cider mill offers traditional fare, including cider, donuts, pies and vegetables.
A popular field trip destination, Plymouth Orchards & Cider Mill has wagon rides through the orchard, a petting farm and a large picnic area.
