Detroit Area Entertainment Centers for Families

Detroit's many arcades and entertainment centers are great for kids and fun for adults, too. Here are just a few of the arcades, entertainment centers and miniature golf courses in the area.
Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum
Colorful, unique and non-virtual, Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum is a great place for kids age 3 to 63. It's an arcade at heart to be sure, but there are enough historical exhibits to qualify as a museum as well. Located In Farmington Hills. Food is available.
Dave & Buster's
Although a national chain, Dave & Buster's has only one location in the Detroit Metro Area: Utica. It might be worth the trip for folks in other areas; good food and a midway containing over 200 games ensure adults and kids alike can have a good time and win a stuffed bear or two. Tip: Bring the kids during the day and early evening.
