List of 2014 Summer Fireworks in Detroit

Displays in the City of Detroit and Throughout Wayne County, Michigan

By Nancy Jones

Summer is here, and so is firework season. Love them or hate them, they are part of the summer lifestyle and we have many to choose from in the Metro Detroit area. Arrive early, bring something to do and be prepared for crowds at the more popular venues. Most displays begin at dusk, generally around 10:00pm. Check out individual websites for more information. Some venues may require admission or seasonal passes. Of special note, the city of Hamtramck has won the Destination America cable TV contest and will be having its first fireworks in over 30 years.

Note: A List of fireworks displays in Macomb & Oakland Counties can be found in the List of 2014 Southeast Michigan Fireworks Displays

In addition to fireworks, the Metro-Detroit area hosts several events, parades and festivals over the weekends surrounding the July 4th holiday.
