Metro Detroit Restaurant Options on the Holiday

There are lots of options throughout the Metro Detroit Area if you choose to let someone else do the cooking on Thanksgiving. Some of the options are listed below; they include buffets, family-style meals and traditional dinners with all the trimmings. 2008 Metro Detroit Thanksgiving Restaurant Options:

Birmingham -- Townsend Hotel, Rugby Grille offers a special Thanksgiving dinner menu, including entrees of salmon, turkey and prime rib. $70+.

Bloomfield Hills -- The Moose Preserve offers both their regular menu and a special holiday menu.

Clinton Township -- J. Baldwin's Restaurant offers a traditional turkey-dinner buffet with large salad and dessert bars from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. $24.99.

Dearborn -- Ritz-Carlton offers an a la carte menu and a four-course dinner for Thanksgiving. $65+.

Harrison Township -- Gino's Surf Banquet Center offers a buffet, including turkey, baked cod and pasta. $18.95.

Holly -- Holly Hotel offers a Victorian Thanksgiving dinner, including a choice of four entrees. $32.

Novi -- The Epoch Thanksgiving Buffet at Rock Financial Showplace is being offered to benefit Forgotten Harvest. The buffet is presented from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will have both turkey and ham carving stations. The Lions game will also be presented. $24.95.

Plymouth -- Ernesto's Italian Garden offers a buffet with both a turkey and ham carving station, as well as chicken, salmon and pasta entrees. $24.95.

Richmond -- The Giving Heart Community Thanksgiving Feast offers a FREE Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Free.

Royal Oak –- Lily’s Seafood offers a family-style Thanksgiving feast with southern deep-fried turkey, ham and salmon. $23.

Southfield -- Il Posto has three special holiday menus. $60+.

St. Clair Shores -- Jack's Waterfront Restaurant offers a buffet from noon until 8 p.m.

Sterling Heights –- Sterling Inn offers a buffet, including turkey, roast beef, ham, six addition entrees and 20 salads. $24.95.

Throughout Metro Area -- Cracker Barrel offers a thanksgiving meal in their restaurant. $8.99 per person.

Troy -- Maggiano's Little Italy offers a family-style dinner, including turkey and ham.

Troy -- Mario’s Italian Grill has traditionally offered a buffet. For 2008, Mario's does not yet have information available on its website. There is, however, a Lions Game Day Grand Buffet that includes egg, pasta and carving stations. $13.50.

Westland -- Hawthorne Valley Country Club offers both brunch and dinner on Thanksgiving Day. $16.95.
