July 4th, 2011: MondayAnn Arbor: The Capital Steps perform on the Main Stage as part of Ann Arbor's Summer Festival.
Wyandotte: The Independence Day Parade takes place on July 4th at 10 a.m. and runs along Biddle Avenue.
Dearborn: Greenfield Village celebrates with the 19th Annual Salute to America in the Walnut Grover Historic District. The event runs on consecutive evenings from June 30th to July 3rd, 2011. The Fireworks Finale takes place on July 3rd and will be accompanied by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra performing Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overature.
Detroit: Jazzin' on Jefferson is in its eight year bringing jazz, blues, food and art to the Eastside of Detroit. It takes place on July 2nd and 3rd and performances include 313 The Experience, Johnnie Bassett, and Planet D Nonet wsg Thornetta Davis. There is also a Children's Stage.
Milford: Camp Dearborn's Beach Bash takes place on July 4th, 2011 and includes live music and fireworks.
Mt. Clemens: The Stars & Stripes Festival takes place from July 1st to July 4th and includes over 100 performances on four stages.
