The holiday season brings several, special shopping opportunities in the Metro Detroit Area. Sick of the mall, try one of these: - Detroit: Holiday Baar Bazaar at The Majestic on Woodward provides a unique shopping venue. In addition to unique merchandise, some of Detroit's best bands will serenade you as you shop. (12/12)
- Northville: Holiday Shopping by Candlelight is a special event hosted by the historic shops in Mill Race Village. The merchandise offered by the shops includes glassworks, hand-made dolls, fine art, music, basketry, jewelry, teddy bears, quilts, etc. There are also several restaurant venues within the village. (11/21 preview and Fridays throughout December)
- Rochester: Kris Kringle Market is a special shopping event in Downtown Rochester. (11/28 through 11/29)
- Sterling Heights: Old World Christmas Market at the Carpathia Club on Utica Road provides German food and an enormous arts & crafts show. (11/30)
