Like a plaza, the front of the mall is lined with stores and restaurants that are directly accessible from the parking lots. Then you can just continue on your way, shopping and browsing into one of the intersections that lead onto the main street. There are also large parking areas behind the stores, accessible through street/sidewalk intersections.
