A special, holiday dinner to go is easier than ever. There are several options throughout the Metro-Detroit area for a take-out dinner on a holiday, from prepared feasts to a la carte turkeys or hams. If you find any more options, drop me a line so that I can add them here.
Detroit Christmas Take-Out Options:
Ann Arbor, Rochester Hills, Troy and West Bloomfield –- Whole Food Markets offer an extensive menu of catered-dinner packages, including turkey and trimmings.Birmingham or Rochester -- Papa Joe's Market offers a Holiday menu with appetizers, salads and entrees purchased a la carte.
Clinton Township -- J. Baldwin's Restaurant offers Holiday cooking classes, as well as catering. There does not appear to be a special menu just for Christmas.
Detroit or Troy -- Mario’s Italian Restaurant offers take-out dinner packages.
Flint -- Thompson Creek Turkey Farm offers roasted or deep-fried turkeys. A la carte turkeys are $39.95 and meals are $53.95.
Frankenmuth -– Zehnder’s Restaurant offers a Christmas dinner, including 20 lb. turkey or ham and traditional Zehnder’s trimmings. $159.
Roseville –- Lazybones Smokehouse offers dinner packages, including a ham feast for eight-to-ten people for $100.
Throughout the Metro Detroit Area –- Boston Market offers several holiday packages. Most packages include turkey or ham, various side options and dessert.
Throughout the Metro Detroit Area –- The Honeybaked Ham Company offers turkey and/or ham and trimmings a la carte. There are locations throughout the Metro-Detroit area. You can also order online, where the prices include expedited shipping.
