There are several more Metro-Detroit Restaurants Open on Christmas in 2009.- Birmingham -- Townsend Hotel, Rugby Grille offers a traditional menu on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. $35+.
- Detroit -- 42 Degrees North in the Renaissance Center is taking reservations for Christmas dinner.
- Detroit -- Sweet Lorraine's in Detroit is taking reservations for Christmas dinner.
- Detroit -- The Whitney is taking reservations for a special dinner/DSO show event on Christmas Eve.
- Holly -- The Historic Holly Hotel hosts several holiday events, including the Cup of Christmas Tea luncheon on December 10th, Breakfast with Victorian Santa on December 12th, the 29th Annual Victorian Feast on December 14th and 21st, and the 'Twas the Night Before Christmas buffet on Christmas Eve (for Dining Club members only).
- Plymouth -- Station 885 hosts a Brunch with Santa on December 13th and 20th.
- Rochester -- The Brookshire Restaurant in the Royal Park Hotel in Rochester is taking reservations for Christmas dinner by Chef Colin Brown. THe Brookshire is fine dining.
- Sterling Heights -- Loon River Cafe is taking reservations for Christmas dinner. The restaurant also has a Brunch with Santa on December 13th and 20th.
- Sterling Heights -- The Sterling Inn is hosting a Holiday Party on Christmas Eve from 3 to 7 p.m. with Hors d'Oeuvres for $18 per person. Dinner will also be available.
- Troy -- Shula's America's Steak House in the Troy Marriott is taking reservations for Christmas dinner.
- Walled Lake -- The Michigan Star Clipper has several holiday meal trains for the season, including the Polar Express Family Dinner Train on December 20th and the Breakfast With Santa Train on December 5th, 12th and 19th.
